1. What this covers
This policy explains what personal information Digiacamy collects from parents and children, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to digiacamy.com, our enrolment form, our WhatsApp and email messages, and our classes. We follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
2. Information we collect
Parent or guardian: name, email address and phone or WhatsApp number.
Child: name, age or grade, and the programme they enrol in.
Payment: Razorpay processes payments and tells us the amount, date, status and the details you entered on our payment page. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details.
Classes: attendance and learning progress notes made by teachers.
Website: basic technical data, such as browser type, collected by Google, which hosts our site.
3. Children's information
We collect a child's information only from a parent or guardian, with their consent. You give that consent when you submit our enrolment form or pay the enrolment fee. We use the information only to teach and support your child. We do not track or monitor children's behaviour online, and we do not show them advertising.
4. How we use it
To confirm enrolment and place your child in a batch.
To contact you about classes, schedules, payments and receipts, mainly on WhatsApp and email.
To run classes and track your child's progress.
To meet legal and accounting requirements.
We do not sell your information or share it for third-party advertising.
5. Who we share it with
Our trained teachers, who see only what they need to teach your child.
Service providers that help us operate: Razorpay (payments), Google (website, enrolment form and email), WhatsApp (messaging) and the video-class platform we use.
Authorities, when the law requires it.
6. Where it is stored and for how long
Your information is stored with the providers above, whose servers may be in or outside India. We keep it only as long as we need it for the purposes above and as the law requires, for example payment records for accounting. When we no longer need it, we delete it.
7. Your rights
You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you or your child, correct it, delete it, or withdraw your consent. Email admin@digiacamy.com from the address you enrolled with. If you withdraw consent or ask for deletion, we may not be able to continue classes.
8. Security
We limit access to people who need it and rely on the security of Google Workspace and Razorpay. No online system is completely secure, so please keep class links private.
9. Complaints
Write to Lakshmi Srinivas at admin@digiacamy.com. If we do not resolve your concern, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
10. Changes
We will post any changes on this page and update the date at the top.
